I was influenced to do Studio Work 3 by the artist Laura Laine, the fashion illustrator. She drew most of her drawings with pencil. I used her same ides of hair.
Media/Process:
For the hair and body I used pencil only. For the bottom part are with strips of gold, pink, and black fabric.
Critique:
I wanted to uses pencil for the face and body to make it more detailed, and also to make it like Laura Laine. I also had to continue with fabric from my last project.
Weakness:
I can never get both eyes to look the same, also the shoulders never look alike.
Strenghts:
I liked using pencil to do the hair and body, because with paint they always get messed up.
Development for next piece:
I will continue with dresses, put using printmaking. (etching)
